Rowan Needs Shinies! is a whimsical incremental game with a colorful cast of critters. Help the greedy crow Rowan gather more shinies with the help of the local wildlife. 

Discover how to craft strange potions and bestow them to your friends. All so that you can gather shinies even faster!

The game is trying to bring together our love of incremental games, cute animals, gothic architecture and setting, and atmospheric music.

The full game will be released on steam December 7th 2026.

All assets in the game, including all the music and sound effects, are made by us directly.

It is 100% human made, with no generative AI used in any capacity, anywhere.

The game is being made with the Unity game engine, with FMOD being used as audio middleware.

Other tools used are Reaper for creating music and sound effects, and Aseprite for creating the art.
